Label2Enable concluded the second roundtable, dedicated to navigating the complexities of reimbursement and payment for health apps. The online event took place on November 28, 2023, and reunited more than 50 participants.
Moderated by Tatjana Prenda Trupec, the second roundtable, concentrated on solutions to challenges in reimbursement and payment for citizen/patient-facing health apps, marked a crucial step towards achieving the overarching goal for an efficient label for health app.
Engaging representatives from European health authorities, HTA bodies, and health insurers, the discussions delved into pressing issues related to the impact of an aging population and chronic diseases on health budgets, unequal access to healthcare, and the shortage of health professionals.
The upcoming third roundtable is poised to focus on recommendations derived from the insights gathered during these collaborative discussions.
