EFPC (European Forum for Primary Care)

The European Forum for Primary Care was initiated in early 2005 by a group of interested parties from several countries. The aim of the Forum is to improve the health of the population by promoting strong Primary Care. This is done by advocating for Primary Care, by generating data and evidence on Primary Care and by exchanging information between its members. The Forum seeks to expand its membership and thereby to become a leading force for strengthening Primary Care in Europe.

EMSA Europe (European Medical Students´ Association)

The European Medical Students´ Association – Association Européenne des Étudiants en Médecine (EMSA) is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation representing medical students from all across Europe.

EURIPA (European Rural and Isolated Practitioners Association)

EURIPA is a representative network organisation founded by family doctors to address the health and wellbeing needs of rural communities and the professional needs of those serving them across Europe. It represents a growing network of rural practitioners and organisations across Europe working together to disseminate good practice, initiate research and influence policy.

Dr Veronika Rasic is a GP Trainee and co-chair of Rural Seeds, a subgroup of the WONCA Working Party on Rural practice for young doctors and medical students with an interest in rural practice.

EYFDM (European Young Family Doctors’ Movement)

The European Young Family Doctors’ Movement is the Network for early career Family Doctors of the European Regional Branch of the World Organization of Family Doctors (WONCA Europe). Early career Family Doctors are defined as those in training for Family Medicine and in the first five years after qualification as a family doctor.

WONCA is an acronym comprising the first five initials of the World Organization of National Colleges, Academies and Academic Associations of General Practitioners/Family Physicians.

The European Regional Branch, WONCA Europe, is the academic and scientific society for general practice/family medicine in Europe. It represents 47 member organisations and more than 90,000 family doctors in Europe.
