About the European Health Data Space

The European Health Data Space (EHDS) is a health specific data ecosystem aimed to harness the power of health data for people, patients and innovation.

The European Commission is drafting a European Health Data Space Regulation to use the full potential of health data. ‘A voluntary label for wellness applications and a cascading effect in medical devices that aim to be interoperable with Electronic Health Record systems’ is part of the proposal. Article 31 of the draft Regulation details this voluntary labelling. The Label2Enable project has provided detailed feedback to the proposal. We welcome amplifying our message and connecting via e-mail to explore further cooperation in next steps.
