Label2Enable organised a first in a series of online webinars called LabelRoundtable - online events with invited experts that target different stakeholders relevant to the ecosystem of fostering, developing and using a quality label for health and wellness apps. The first edition focused on enabling patients, citizens and carers to benefit from using health and wellness apps. Stay tuned for upcoming events from the Label2Enable series.
The first LabelRoundtable was held on 2 March 2023 and was attended by over 30 representatives of patients, citizens and carers from around Europe. Via a combination of speaker presentations and interactive sessions, Label2Enable raised awareness among the attendees about Label2Enable’s activities and at the same time received input from the audience on their use of health apps as well as their views on the future way in which average citizens will be discovering and using new health apps to support their wellbeing, treatment, chronic disease management, etc.
The webinar was moderated by Strahil Birov (empirica). Presentations were given by Petra Hoogendoorn (LUMC), Romy Willemsen (LUMC), Mariam Shokralla (LUMC) and Eline Heemskerk (PHAROS).
