Consortium members came together for the first time in-person to celebrate the beginning of the EU project Label2Enable.
The project focuses on adopting CEN-ISO/TS 82304-2 and a trusted EU mHealth label for a single market that enables patients, citizens, health professionals, systems, and authorities to benefit from a healthy supply of valuable apps.
At the meeting, the consortium was welcomed by project coordinator Petra Hoogendoorn from Leiden University. Policy officer Birgit Morlion from the European Commission presented an insightful overview of the project’s policy context. Moreover, Ward Servaes from MoveUp, a value-based digital care solution, provided an inspirational presentation on the challenges and needs of Belgium’s first reimbursable app.
After this introductory session, the project members took a deep dive into each of the project’s work packages and finished the meeting with a social event.
