On the 3rd of November, we successfully concluded our third multi-stakeholder workshop in Brussels, Belgium. Despite the weather conditions, 22 participants gathered in person, while an additional 30 joined the event online.
Despite the weather conditions, 22 participants gathered in person, while an additional 30 joined the event online. The attendees represented health authorities, health technology assessment bodies, and insurers. We extend our gratitude to both our partners and participants for their valuable contributions to the success of the event.
Focused on "The Preferred Future of Health & Care in 5 - 10 Years and the Role of Digital Health Quality Label," participants deliberated and proposed solutions to enhance the performance of health apps in the European healthcare sector.
Divided into groups—'Citizens/patients/carers and healthcare professionals,' 'App assessors, app libraries and app stores, app manufacturers, SDOs, and regulatory service providers,' and 'Health authorities and insurers'—participants engaged in discussions. The day proved productive for all those involved in the health field. After lunch, additional insights emerged, and participants had the opportunity to consolidate all the gathered insights from the discussions.
We express our gratitude for your assistance in organizing the event Leiden University Medical Center | empirica Communication and Technology Research | The European Institute for Innovation Through Health Data
