Label2Enable organised a first of three roundtables with high-level officials on 25 September 2023, entitled "Reimbursement of health apps”. The event was attended by 74 participants from 19 countries, mainly representing health authorities, health technology assessment bodies, insurers, and other experts. The roundtable explored the status and challenges in reimbursement and payment for citizen/patient-facing health apps. Structured dialogue was used for a call to action, taking into account the bigger picture i.e. societal impact. Various countries representatives presented status and challenges of the reimbursement of health apps in their countries. The presentations from the roundtable are available below.
