The Organisation for the Review of Health and Care Apps (ORCHA) exists to make digital health care healthy.
ORCHA delivers the core infrastructure needed to introduce digital health safely. Its award-winning app library technology is used by health care authorities, health care providers, and digital health innovators in twelve countries. It delivers a systematic approach to assessing, accrediting, deploying and embedding digital health technologies into clinical services and pathways, using a risk management approach that has long been in place for medicine.
ORCHA represents with four subcontracted app assessment organisations the app assessment organisation and app library perspective in the consortium, leads WP3 (certification), will test the EU certification scheme with 24 intentionally diverse apps and 5 app assessment organisations to ensure consistent, efficient assessments and explore who is to pay for app assessments.
