The Italian National Institute of Health (ISS) is the main centre for research, control, and technical-scientific advice on public health in Italy.
The National Centre for Innovative Technologies in Public Health (CN TISP) participates in Label2Enable on behalf of ISS. It promotes the improvement of public health through research, development, optimisation and evaluation of innovative technologies for public health protection using multidisciplinary expertise. The scope of activities ranges from medical devices, biomedical engineering, radiological health, nuclear medicine, nanotechnology and innovative therapies.
ISS represents the health care authority and app assessment organisation perspective in the consortium and will pilot CEN-ISO/TS 82304-2 and assist in the co-creation and implementation of an action plan to promote the label.
