European Patients’ Forum (EPF) is an umbrella patient organisation that works with patients’ groups in public health and health advocacy across Europe.
EPF members represent specific chronic disease groups at EU level, or are national coalitions of patient organisations. EPF gathers patients’ views and channels their voice to inform decision-making in public health, health-related research and innovates in patient involvement. Within the European Patient Community, EPF leads debates on the Medical Devices Regulation, In Vitro Diagnostics Regulation, and Health Data. EPF also hosts the secretariat of the multi-stakeholder European level initiative, Data Saves Lives.
EPF represents the patient, citizen, carer perspective in the consortium. It also leads WP 4 (patients, citizens, and carers); and will set up the patient, citizen and carer advisory board and group that will assist several tasks in being patient, citizen, carer oriented.
