EIT Health was established in 2015, as a ‘knowledge and innovation community’ (KIC) of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT).
EIT Health believes that innovation flourishes best when the right people are brought together to share expertise. The organisation works across borders with approximately 150 EIT Health partner organisations and thousands of start-ups and entrepreneurs, bringing together the brightest minds in health care to address some of the biggest health challenges Europe faces.
EIT Health represents the small- and medium sized enterprise perspective in the consortium and will assess with the 24 health app manufacturers involved in testing the EU certification scheme how to ensure the certification process is self-explanatory and efficient.
